Betallic Fall/Winter Contest - Wearable Balloon Art
Shonna Flanigan
I'm sure many of you have heard of or even participate in Jeff Brown's Balloons Around the World event, where balloon artists around the world spend a day giving of their time and talent to those around them. I suggest we take that fabulous idea and make it a daily part of our lives.
Everyday do one nice thing for someone.
It doesn't have to be a big balloon sculpture. Just make a flower and give it to someone. If you don't happen to have any balloons on you, hold a door open for someone. Give them your spot in line at the check-out counter. Let them take that parking spot close to the door. I'm sure in just a few minutes you could think of a hundred nice things you could do for someone you know or a total stranger.
The smiles created by our own personal little bail-out could be enough to turn this country around!
All it takes is one kind action. They're free!
