This month I will be sharing my version of Professor Wonder’s Steam Train. With just a few changes it looks like a very popular Train that is quick enough for restaurant and Birthday Parties.

Balloons
1 Pale Blue 350Q
2 Black 260s
1 Grey 5″ Round or a grey 350
1 Scrap of Red 260
1 Red 160

Start by inflating the Pale Blue 350 leaving about 6″ and tie it off. Make a medium ear twist and two 3″ bubbles. Lock the 3″ bubbles together.

Make a 5 to 6″ bubble for the body of the train and hold it under your arm. Inflate the Grey 5″ Round to about 4″ and tie it off. Make a 1″ bubble on the bottom of the round and wrap the Pale Blue 350 around this to hold it in place. If you are using a grey 350 just tie it together. Pop and tie the rest of the Pale Blue 350, you’re done with it.

Set this aside and inflate one of the Black 260s leaving a 6″ tail and tie it off. Make two 1″ ear twists and a 2″ bubble followed by two more 1″ ear twists. Tie the knot of the Grey 5″ to the second set of ear twists. Now make a 5″ bubble, a 1″ bubble, 3″ bubble, 1″ bubble and a 5″ bubble connecting it back to the second set of ear twists. Shove the grey 5″ round through the giant teddy bear head and ear twist the 1″ bubbles. (Gee if we had Grey 6″ Hearts we could just twist the lobes of the heart and connect them to the ear twist in the teddy bear head. HINT Betallic and Qualatex). Break and tie off the leftover Black 260.

Inflate the second Black 260 leaving about a 6″ tail. (boy am I tired of typing that) Tie it to one of the ear twists on the teddy bear head and make three 2″ bubbles connecting the last one to the ear twist on the Pale Blue 350. Make a 3″ bubble and a 1″ ear twist, run the ear twist through and around the cabin. Make another 3″ bubble and twist it around the other side of the ear twist to complete the cabin. Make three more 2″ bubbles and lock the last one to the other ear twist on the teddy bear head.

Inflate the scrap of Red 260 to about 3″ and tie. Wrap the knot and tail around the ear twist for his Cow Catcher. Draw on eyes and a smile.

image

To add the Red stripe inflate the red 160 leaving about a 6″ tail and tie. Wrap the knot to the Pale Blue 350 ear twist and run it over the tires, over the body and back over the tires. Break and tie it off then tie it to the ear twist.

This will push the head forward, dont worry just roll the black 5″ bubbles up towards the face a little.

Hope you were able to learn something new.
