Everyone in the industry with an email address is welcome to be listed in the BHQ artist directory. There is no fee to simply be listed, although members get higher priority in searches and also get links to their online portfolios directly from this listing. You must keep this entry updated or it will be deleted. Any entry that has not been reviewed by the owner will be purged after 6 months of inactivity. You will always be notified by email prior to your entry being removed so you can take appropriate action, however we encourage you to check back frequently to make sure your listing is accurate.
Someone recently asked on the twister forum about the current readership of Balloon HQ. Since I received some positive feedback to my note about it, I thought I'd share some of those stats with a wider audience. It's fun to see how much things have grown since the early days.
When we began back in 1992, BHQ was nothing but an e-mail list for discussions about balloon twisting and entertaining. Now, it's hard to say exactly how many people read that discussion forum. I can give you an exact number of people subscribed via email, but that's actually only a part of the audience for the mailing list. More and more, people are reading the forum from the web site. So, with that in mind, here are some rough numbers that may be of interest:

Myeung Jae Park, the owner of Sunmulline in South Korea, has a number of beautiful photos in her portfolio using only a few balloons. With the focus on ever larger sculptures, it's great to be reminded that the smaller, simpler stuff can be just as attractive and polished.
