Subject: introducton/FAQ

The list is still incredibly small, but as I add each person I feel like I
should give them some information about the list and at least let them
know what basic terms we've been using to describe various things. (I
know, we dont' all agree on them, but we're getting closer to
understanding each other. :-) I've been pointing new subscribers to the
old balloon mail available for ftp, but almost no one has taken advantge
of that. Would someone be willing to put together some basic sort of
introduction for the list. I'm hesitant to call it a FAQ since there are
few enough postings that we don't really have any questions that are
asked frequently. The descriptions of all the basic twists that was
reposted recently seems like a good place to start. Addresses for places
to order balloons and good books would also be a good idea. I don't
really want to do it since I'm sure that if I start I won't get any of my
real work done.

Thanks,
Larry
