1. Inflate a 160 leaving 2-3 inch uninflated, then make a 15 inch bubble (for a leg) followed by a pinch twist and a slightly soft 3 inch bubble.

2. Make four of these and then twist them together.

3. Make a slightly soft 3 inch bubble followed by a pinch twist with each of the remaining balloons.

4. Inflate a 160 leaving 4 inch uninflated and then make a (slightly soft) 4 inch bubble and twist it around a pinch twist and then make a 1 inch bubble to the next pinch twist and make one side of the carapace.

5. Make a 1.5 inch bubble across to the other side and then go around to complete the carapace.

6. With the remaining balloon . make another 4.5 inch bubble for the spiders second pedipalp and then break off/tie and save the remaining balloon.

7. With the remaining balloon . make a 1.5 inch bubble followed by a small pinch twist, and then make two 1 inch bubbles. These will be the spider.s teeth.

8. Twist the bubbles together and then make a 6 inch (soft) loop twist, then make a 1.5 inch bubble. The loop twist will wrap around the spiders eyes and then wedge into the carapace.

9. Attach the 1.5 inch bubbles to the spiders front legs and then fold the remaining balloon back, making a 2.5 inch bubble that is twisted to the opposite side – to curve the front of the spider slightly. Now complete the legs and save a scrap to make another section between (with two pinch twists in the middle) the legs.

10. Inflate the round for the abdomen. Then feed the nozzle through the gap (seen in section 5) and attach it to the pinch twists.
