QBN Program & Benefits

QBN Curriculum

The QBN educational curriculum includes a series of five videotapes and correspondence exams with topics ranging from the principles of design and employee training to the business side of balloons. The videos and exams can be reviewed and completed at your own pace.

Certified Balloon Artist (CBA) Certification Program

The Qualatex Balloon Network (QBN) certification program centers on a comprehensive approach to professional balloon practices. The goal is to help establish a common foundation of knowledge and a starting point for communication. This is accomplished through a series of correspondence exams contained in Volumes I through V of the QBN curriculum series. Members then have a chance to demonstrate their skills and knowledge of the curriculum during a four-hour, hands-on CBA Practical Exam administered at various locations and times throughout the year. Becoming a CBA gives balloon professionals more skills and accreditation they can use to promote themselves and expand their businesses. Certified Balloon Artists also receive additional benefits to QBN membership. CBAs have access to exclusive CBA marketing materials, are first to receive referrals when potential clients contact Pioneer Balloon Company, and receive priority listing in the "Find-A-Pro" directory on Qualatex.com.
