Carolyn Avery, a native of Arlington, Virginia, and the fourth of seven children, now calls North Carolina’s Triangle area home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Management Studies and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland University College in 2005 while working full-time as a Legal Secretary in Washington, DC. With a passion for real estate, Carolyn has held licenses in Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia since 1999, balancing her corporate career with her entrepreneurial spirit.

Her journey into balloon décor and children’s entertainment began while writing a business plan for a future venture. Inspired by the joy she witnessed when a clown twisted balloon animals for children during an outreach event, Carolyn saw an opportunity to create lasting memories through entertainment. While attending a children’s entertainment convention in Northern Virginia, she discovered balloon décor, which sparked her passion for the craft. Motivated to master the art, she pursued professional training, quickly developing the skills and techniques to launch a thriving business.
